It is suitable as a solvent for various polymers in high-end coatings and inks, including amino methyl esters, vinyl, polyester, cellulose acetate, alkyd resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, and nitrocellulose. It can also be used as a solvent for paints, inks, textile dyes, and textile oils.
